The Boy Is Back
by Meg Cabot
I was so excited to find out that Meg Cabot had written a new novel and gosh, she didn’t disappoint, but let’s be real, she never does. For over a decade, I’ve fallen straight into her stories, with this series of stand-alone novels being my favourites.
I love how seamlessly her writing in “the boy” series weaves together a complete narrative from diary entries, texts, emails, reviews and newspaper articles. As per the others, there are little Easter eggs woven into the story (hello Dolly).
