Barking to the Choir: The Power of Radical Kinship
by Gregory Boyle
Wow! I loved this book so much that as I listened to it in audiobook format, I had to get a paper copy to look at in the evenings to re-live my favorite parts. So many wonderful, heart-warming stories of the homies and their point of view of the world. I loved it even more than Tatoos on the Heart. So many wonderful messages for Christians to take to heart from a group of people most white, middle-class Christians wouldn't really want to associate with. Humbling in a gorgeous way and I kept laughing out loud as I listened in the car!
I read again the hardcover again for a book group and thoroughly enjoyed it a second time. So many wonderful messages.
