Just finished My Oxford Year by Julia Whelan… 🇬🇧📖
Ella Durran, a 24-year-old American, lands her dream year at Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship while juggling a U.S. political campaign. Then she meets Jamie Davenport—charming, a bit mysterious… and not exactly who she thought.
What started out light and flirty slowly turned into something deeper. A little sad, but not hopeless.
I also loved all the Oxford bits—the architecture, college quirks, literary nods. Every chapter opens with a classic quote, and that made the book feel extra warm and poetic.
