"Enjoy yourself. There are many good things in the world, and each of them happens for the first time only once, and never again."

This book is absolutely magical, truly what every portal fantasy should be. Lundy is a fantastic character who I think most of the people reading this book can relate to. McGuire writes about her coming of age beautifully and in such a way that you can really feel it along with her. The Goblin Market is also just such a wonderful world, I loved how the story stayed isolated in the market while hinting at the greater world around it. I also appreciated how the market was neither good nor bad, but it was always fair. The friendships were also so sweet and complex just as childhood friendships often are. 10/10, one of my favourite books in the series.
