I really enjoy these books. I almost didn't want to start reading this one since I enjoyed the first so much and felt rather satisfied after reading it. I do think they both end satisfying by giving you just enough information but they also leave you wanting more. To know what happens next.
Admittedly I didn't love this one like I did the first book. I found Tris to be a bit annoying in some cases. Not a lot, but enough. I like that Roth makes the characters flawed but I loved how strong Tris was in the first book. Fighting against all odds to prove herself. It was admirable.
In this book she was more selfless which is also admirable but I missed some of the strength. I dunno, maybe thats not the best way to explain it. Anyway, it was still really enjoyable and I look forward to reading the next book!
