The Sweetness of Water by Nathan Harris
3.5
A book club pick FAR outside my usual tastes and preferences. Since I'm going back in time, I read this almost nine months ago from when Im reviewing it. It is a very solid historical novel, with a well selected point in time for telling it's story. However, I found myself now feeling like I can't remember much about the characters besides their role in the story. They felt more like carefully chose examples from history than fully fleshed characters.
