A COZY FANTASY ABOUT A DRYADOLOGIST RESEARCHING FAERIES AND HER EERILY NON HUMAN COLLEGES - LOVE IT!!!

As the name suggests, our heroine emily is researching at the Columbia University to write an encyclopaedia on different species of faeries. The only entry left is of hidden ones, which take her to a remote island filled with snow and mysteries. Soon, her irritating colleague, who emily is sure is not human (he's just that handsome guys she's just shy to admit) comes knocking at her door. Both of them set out on a journey to discover hidden secrets and a set of mysterious fairy doors.

The story is cosy, not much adventurous but still fun to read. The writing - impeccable. Both the story line and the character interactions are perfect with a blend of humour and sarcasm. Emily my dear is so dense and devoted to her work, I feel bad for Wendell. All his amazing flirting skills are wasted on her 😂.
The romance was a subplot but still so cute it healed my soul.

The book 2 in the duology looks promising too, I'll post about it as soon as I finish it
