I will always try a book from this author as it is always a good time. Overall, I found the story a bit slow and I feel like everything in the book could’ve been more intense. It needed more horror, more gore, and a little bit more romance between the FMC and the side character would’ve been nice. Definitely a good time between more epic books and series. I did love the Gothic type setting and I love the way this author writes.
