For a book described as being a post-apocalyptic story, there’s not very much happening. I understand that it’s a satire and commentary on capitalist culture as well, but I think any story taking place in a time like this would have SOMETHING happen. Also, it is never explained why she never falls ill. Like it doesn’t make much sense? The chapters about her past were interesting enough, but I went into this thinking it was going to be more intense and strange. Whoops
