A beautiful retelling of a beautiful film.
While I usually find movie novelizations redundant, this one really amplifies the experience. The writing is simple but captivating: it's very hard to put the book down. Storywise, the most welcome addition is the insight into the characters' minds - a priviledge of literature over cinema.
All in all, great stuff.
