I don’t know if it’s because I took a break between reading the 16th Seduction and the 17th Suspect but it’s proving to be better than the former book. I’m also surprised by this because I usually DISLIKE the court cases and only care about the crimes, but this time was different. I found myself more interested in the trial! I also find it highly unbelievable too that a detective would be so worried about cases not in her jurisdiction. I wanted to shout, “So y’all don’t have any cases in your own jurisdiction to solve, like none???” Overall, good plot but ending was dull.
