What a bunch of lovable losers! I enjoyed reading the development of each guy’s relationship with Jess, and also with each other. Harley Laroux really told a polyamorous story masterfully. The story wouldn’t have as much emotional impact if the relationships weren’t developed right. The band of rejects and misfits found each other and became family. They bettered themselves for each other. They defended their own from attacks from others. It was fun to see how protective they were of Jess and each other. I loved Vincent’s parents and family, how they loved each one of the boys and then Jess. It was great to see Jessica’s parents finally come around towards the end. I was nervous about Manson’s dad Reagan but it turned out ok, they handled him. This story is memorable and kind of put the run-of-the-mill polyamorous stories to shame.
