Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl
1.0
I must be missing the premise that makes this a 5-Star rated book for such a large proportion of readers. Enough has been written about the Holocaust and been (mis)used to whip up diametric range of emotions, so fortunately this book did not dwell on this; however, it turned pretty dull and into a repetitive academic text about logotherapy.
A psychoanalyst might also consider my thinking influenced by the fact that peoples who had undergone trauma not so long ago, are inhumanly causing pain/death to fellow humans. Instead of talking the talk, one must also learn to walk the talk.
So much for Man's Search for Meaning!
I "fast-forwarded" and skimmed through the latter half of the book as it held no interest for my prejudiced mind, I am afraid.
