Rating and reviewing this is complicated. I really liked the plot, but nothing about the premise prepared me for the explicit scenes found on several pages throughout the story. Far from Disney's Snow White, I do love the concept of the princess as a vampire and would be happy to read a full-length novel of that variation or even see a movie (done well with top graphics fitting to the dark, fairy tale vibe). The narrative is told through the stepmother's perspective, and she is not evil at all. She recounts the events in a captivating way up to her ending. The artwork is beautiful, even for the spicy scenes I did not expect to find.
