Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
4.0

I would like to preface this with, I was also reading Midnight Sun at the time so my standards were really really low. And the only reason I am saying this is because as a afterword, there are so many flaws and plot holes and grammar and writing issues in general with this book that I would have never rated it so highly normally.

That being said, because I was in such a hole it allowed me to put away my critical mind and just enjoy the book for what it was.

I had a lot of fun reading the banter and snarky remarks passed between Nathaniel and Elisabeth. Their story was what I was really hooked on in this and I would die for Nathaniel Thorn.

I thought the plot was fun with the mystery of why the great libraries were being sabotaged, and the magic system of the sorcerers having being tethered to demon was interesting

Overall I had a fun and good time reading this book. But the predictability, writing issues, and plot holes are so apparent they are hard to ignore.
