I'll Walk Alone by Mary Higgins Clark

4.0

Mary Higgins Clark is my quick read go to...when I don't want a true romance. Her stories are fast paced, quick to read, engaging, and fun. This one was no different! I couldn't put it down...I wanted to read and find out who was behind the whole story to make Zan look guilty of kidnapping her own child. As usual, some of the secondary characters were a little bland, pretty cookie cutter, but they don't distract from the story. While the end result was not a total surprise, it was not the most obvious answer from page one, so that is nice. All in all a nice quick, fun, light read for the weekend!
