Every aspect of this book is set up to be something I should like. I love art, I work on websites, and I also live with chronic pain. I am also extremely introverted and am slightly afraid of the world and being hurt. So surface level this is a book I should love.
But something just didn't click. I thought the characters were good. The plot was kind of meh, didn't feel like much happened. Unfortunately, to me this book was kind of forgettable.
Maybe it's because I just read 2 rom-com books that really ticked my boxes that this just didn't do it? I don't know... I'm sad I didn't love it though. It was a perfectly ok book
