What could I say, I gave this book 2 stars only because I like the characters due to my fondness for them since I was younger , but I'm honestly burned out by the story. I really wanted to finish this book quickly because I was tired of it especially because of the way it's written (and so many other things but anyway); there are a LOT of moments where the author is repeating herself in her descriptions and at some point it was becoming genuinely annoying, even some comparisons which made no sense but at least were kind of funny. Also some characters are boring or annoying but that doesn't impact my rating ig (Simon but that's also because of the volume 4 which was unnecessary and Clary's mom, GOD leave your child alone for a bit please). Otherwise, Isabelle is a queen!!!! Anyway, I'm really happy to have finished it and can't wait to do the same with the last volume...
