I just finished reading this ARC and gosh what an ending! I want to dive into the next book rn to know what happens next.
This book did start off quite slow for me personally and I spent almost 100 pages waiting for the mmc to show up but damn it was worth the wait and every time after his scenes were worth waiting for. I just wish I saw more of him during their initial getting to know each other phase while they were travelling instead of having to read Nolei's descriptions. I definitely loved seeing more both of them ever since then and throughout the rest of the book.
This had witty banter between the characters making this an enjoyable read and it definitely had all the feminist, girl boss vibes I'd want in a book.
I think I might have enjoyed this book more if I hadn’t read it straight after finishing fearless by Lauren Roberts as the end of that trilogy had me looking blankly at a wall, not knowing what to read next.
I was only rly hooked until the second half or towards the very last part of the book, up until then I did have to push myself through but I'm glad I did, as it was worth it at the end!
It was refreshing to learn the significance and representation of the phases of the moon to womanhood which made me appreciate this unique world more and I think it's important that's explained.
The spice was SPICY and the romance was also there, all in all I did still enjoy it and I'd encourage anyone to give this a go too!
