Wow, this series has my whole heart and soul. The writing is stunning and the content is gripping, heartbreaking, and eye-opening.

In this series we follow a found family, who are constantly on the run from being captured to be tested, pocked and prodded for their bone marrow. The indigenous communities are being captured because they are the only population left on the planet who are able to dream. Once your dreams are gone, you become a shell of yourself. This book is the follow up to The Marrow Thieves and it picks up where the last book left off.

I cried so hard reading these books, you come to love these characters so much. A lot more happens in this sequel then in the first book, it is much longer and has multiple POVs we are following.

Other than the middle getting a little drawn out and the ending feeling rushed, I really loved this read. The writing style of Dimaline's cannot be matched, it is so beautiful. I love this found family and how they will never leave one behind.

I cannot recommend this series enough!
