The New Guy by V.C. Lancaster

5.0

I realised yesterday upon rereading this that I've never reviewed it, which is bizarre because it's my favourite of VC Lancaster's books. Maggie and Ro are one of those couples who are so into each other that everyone can see it from a mile away, but their relationship problems are also completely understandable and realistic - their drama stems mostly from miscommunication, which can be frustrating if not handled well but it works perfectly here because both Maggie and Ro have a demonstrated tendency to not want to rock the boat. Seeing them work stuff out is really satisfying, and the whole book is very well-plotted and structured.

Also, Ro is my favourite.
