Hell on Earth by Mila Young, Harper A. Brooks

5.0

Hell on Earth is the final book in Mila Young’s and Harper A. Brooks’s Sin Demons series, and for me, this ending is the best. Romance, drama, epic fight, and a surprise twist to boot! Aria and her four, nope , five demons, have a problem. The relics that they managed to collect? Stolen and taken back to Hell where they can’t follow. Great. Now what? Seems like it’s time for a game of trust. Maverick claims he’s different, changed and wants a new regime ruling in Hell, but inorder to prove himself he’ll have to pass a couple of tests. But nothing ahead of them will be easy as Lucifer knows what they are up to, and won’t just let them come waltzing in. Plus, Cain is going to need to bring more of his brothers on board if he is going to have a chance at winning this fight.
Hell on Earth is by far the best book in the series for me. There is so much going on in this book and it is a real page-turner of a novel. I absolutely devoured this book. While there is the usual testosterone puffing between the guys as they flex about Maverick, things really do manage to stay on track most of the time. The pace is well done and I love that I got so much more with this book. The authors give us the thrills in both realms (Hell and Earth). The steamy scenes are really good, too. While some of the scenes are meant to be distractions for the characters, I don’t feel that they are truly distractions as a whole detracting from the storyline by being too much of a good thing.
The characters are idiots in some places – Aria saying “warn a girl” when a demon slams on the brakes out of sheer irriation with her and she hits her face (I didn’t feel that sorry for her – sorry not sorry. LOL). The ego self stroking of the guys. I literally rolled my eyes. LOL! But I really can’t complain too much about this book.
I enjoyed this one probably the most out of the entire series. The twist at the end is really clever, too. I’m rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. Great ending to the series, and I can’t wait to read what they write next.
