Amazing! I have a different lens through which to view my food choices, and my relationship with this body that gets me around in this world. The very bottom line premise of this book is to eat as close to the bottom of the food chain as possible--a whole-plant based diet. If I see a food item and don't really know where it came from originally, or how much it had to go through to get to its present state, I probably don't need it, and my body (and my health) will suffer if I ingest it. Simple!
Knowing the why behind so many ailments, and the why behind eating healthy foods, makes the change in lifestyle choices easier for me.
