The pacing of it, and Joshua Jackson’s reading was great.
I’m hooked and think I’ll be seeking out more of this author’s works.
I did notice that listening to the upcoming Oracle 2 part, there were some changes.
Tillman’s first name changes in the second book, as does his characterization. And the voice actor who reads him.
The relationship he has with Nathaniel is …showing as more caustic?
Claire Fernandez’s voice actor is different as well.
I’ll probably still listen but it was jarring listening to it so shortly after the end of the book. It was also not a reading but the type where you hear sound effects of what’s going on. Immersive.
