i feel like i’m going to have to reread this at some point which i am simultaneously looking, and not looking forward to. maybe it’s because i read this over the course of about 6 months, it felt very disjointed and hard to follow... which is also simultaneously the opposite, and exactly how i would describe tripping on LSD. As someone who’s always admired the 60s counter culture, i thought i’d get more out of this book than i currently seem to have. Hippie’s are cool, and annoying, and weird, and i so often align myself with them. But then i looked up pictures of mountain girl and she had her fly down and i just think about how that’s my worst nightmare and living on a bus with 11 other people would do my head in and they probably never showered and as much as i love marijuana, and lsd i often need to take time off to make sure my heads screwed on tight enough. i did not follow half of the

On and i get that that’s part of what tripping across america is like and it was wild and strange but
..IF I DON’T FOLLOW IT...
then i’m not going to enjoy it
In any case i liked looking up pictures of Furthur and when i get my paws around a copy of the movie then i’ll definitely enjoy those.
