The Key to Rondo by Emily Rodda

I first read this book back in 2009 so when I added the sequel to my request list from the library, I knew I needed to reread the original to remind myself of the events before trying to pick up where I left off 11 years later.
The only thing I remembered was that I loved this book the first time.
I really enjoyed it the second time as well, especially the cheeky humor that Rodda weaves into the entire narrative.
I highly recommend this book.
