World Without End
by Ken Follett
Pillars of the Earth is one of my favorite books, so I don't know why I put off reading this book for so long. Much like Pillars it was at times frustrating to see bad people prosper, but everything happens for a reason and it makes for a great story.
Reading this book during the Covid-19 pandemic was a little nuts at times.
To see "mask wearing" politicized during the Prioress elections felt eerily familiar. I have to wonder how Follett felt watching pages from his book play out in real life.
