I got an e-arc and before I even finished the book I bought a physical copy! Romantasy done right!!!! The perfect balance between action and romance, high stakes and lovable characters. Lately I’ve found a lot of the new books I’ve read don’t have enough backstory, or are trying too hard to be able to market a book a certain way, but THIS book does not have any of those problems. The plot was so well developed and I cannot wait to read the second book. Will be recommending this book to everyone.
