This book explores some interesting ideas, and has some cool concepts. The lazy gun, the useless king, the order of monks chained to the wall and so on are all really cool concepts.
But, I don't find the prose or page by page story to be very interesting. I wasn't attached to the crew at all, it often wasn't very clear why the people are doing what they're doing, and the connections between things like the lazy gun and Sharrow are poorly explained.
I enjoyed the concepts well enough, but the majority of the content is lacking.
