Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor

2.0

Ι'm very sad about this rating but I really cannot fathom how this book would worth more than 2 stars considering the author's incessant blabbering to fill in some narrative time between Karou and Akiva's time apart and what's going on with the rest of the world.
Truthfully, after some time I didn't pay that much attention to the Audible narration because I didn't care at all about the plot and the characters. Lots of side characters and plots are thrown in the mix, the issue with different POVs still persists, and the same fluffing that I identified in book 1 still existed here.
I'll finish the trilogy because I've already purchased the third audiobook and the voice artist's work is commendable. However, I have low expectations and I stand firm with my original assertion: the premise of DOSAB is amazing but it's poorly executed as a story.
