Honestly, this felt all over the place. I waited 50% of the book for smut, and while it delivered pretty well, the rest of the smutty scenes were glazed over and the plot immediately jumped to crazy plot twists with killing and kidnapping...like WHERE did this all come from? The twists felt so out of pocket and unbelievable to me.
I think part of my issue with the book is I listened to it, and the woman's voice acting genuinely made me cringe when she read male character voices, I hate to say it. If I read any more of this series, it will be physical copies, because the time line was so hard to follow, and the voices annoyed me.
