Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen

5.0

Perhaps the only negative on this book is that nearly all of its readers will be Springsteen fans. It deserves a much wider readership.
Although I am a long-time fan, the exploration of relationships (and family in all its forms), along with the frank discussion about mental illness and depression, are not only exceptional, but they leave the reader with plenty to contemplate long after closing the book. In my situation, I found many of his observations to be not only spot-on, but helpful in my own relationships as both a son and a father.
Incredibly thoughtful and well done.
