A group of women have made it to the finale. What’s the competition? To find love of course.

When they travel to a remote island to film the final episodes they prepare themselves for severe sleep deprivation, invasive interviews and the inevitable drama that will arise. Each woman is on The Catch for their own reason, least of all being the sleazy bachelors heart. What they aren’t expecting is to meet Patricia. Patricia watches from the shadows, a queer spectre haunting the display of heterosexuality before her. But when they cross paths with Patricia will they make it back alive?

Patricia Wants To Cuddle was completely unexpected and brilliant. The commentary on reality tv, and North American media culture in general, was oozing from the pages. The stereotypes and knocking those down was my favourite part of this small but mighty book. I also just loved the behind the scenes forum bits and slight true crime vibe to it. There were so many different elements built into this and Allen totally pulled it off!

I loved the build up, the reveals, the twists and turns. This was really fun and refreshing. There was a deep feel to this one, I can tell the author poured a lot into this. And can I just say I love how offbeat and quirky it was! I don’t really want to give much else away because I think this is a “you must read this and experience this” type of book.

Thank you @zandoprojects @mandagroup for the advanced copy, I enjoyed Patricia Wants To Cuddle, 4✨.
