They can’t be together because he is married!! But for those who have an ick for cheating - I implore you to read the author details on this. It’s not all as it seems.
Sage is a character we know from previous standalones in Crimson Ridge. She’s sassy and oh so bossy. Yes sergeant, no sergeant. She’s focused on herself and making her dreams come true, including her wildest fantasies. This girl is unapologetically herself.
In comes our leading man. I think this is the biggest age gap in the series thus far? Beau Heartford is a heartthrob (please tell me that was done on purpose!). He’s linked to Crimson Ridge by our favourite tattooed uncle (IYKYK). He’s got some hurt, and a huge ‘stache. Also called a flavour savour. Yep. Sorry.
There’s bumps and grinds and this cowboy may know how to ride a bull but Sage has got him stupefied.
Get smutty and some amazing banter. Love me some texting in books.
