i REALLY liked this book! an excellent debut novel! the characters were so real and so fleshed out and i ended up feeling for jolene, and cliff, and rhonda, and armin and miley and grew to love them all. sue is so good at crafting characters that live in the grey area and they feel so real and so human which is something i love in a book, it stuck with me even when i wasn't reading, and my brain kept up with the story outside of the confines of the pages so i definitely did enjoy it
