The Nameless Dark by T. E. Grau

5.0

It took me too long to read this collection and I'm kicking myself. I could've been enjoying these wonderful stories so much sooner! I'm familiar with Grau's other work and I know how strong his longer work is. But he is equally adept at writing an engaging and entertaining short story, as is evidenced by every single entry in this collection. His dark imagination is matched only by his turn of phrase and beautifully poetic language. A wonderful book and an author to look out for in the (hopefully not-too-distant) future.
