Falling Into You
by A.L. Jackson
Falling Into You is the third book in the Falling Stars series by the talented AL Jackson. It can be read as a standalone, but why would you want to! They are all fantastic. AL Jackson never disappoints with her lyrical writing, complicated characters, love stories and angst. So much angst! She's the only author who keeps me coming back for more even when I know my heart will barely take it! Richard is in the band, Carolina George, and we've known him for a while. Honestly, I didn't really like him too much in the last book, but now that we get his story, in his words, from his heart, I see his appeal. He's sexy and talented, but he's haunted. He's hurting and his heart is broken. Now that he's back in his hometown, his heart sees the other half again and he's not going to let her get away again. He's going to protect her and her family from whatever is chasing him. Period. Violet isn't going to just forgive and forget. Richard walked out on her six years ago and he broke her heart. She won't survive if he leaves her again. Richard and Violet's love story started out easy and simple. It was magic. Then he had to leave to protect her. Now they have to decide if it's worth the risk to try again. They've never stopped loving each other, but sometimes love can't save you. Or can it? This book. Wow. There was a lot going on and I thought my heart was going to give out. The intensity, the suspense, the love. It was almost too much. I loved that we got to see this side of Richard. The romantic, the musician. I'm looking forward to more from Carolina George!
