Violent and compelling and weird and just an overall very good horrific time. Every time Molly bleeds, a hole in the world appears and a double of her appears and comes to try and kill her. And the book just follows her as this life just wears her into the ground because it's exhausting and scary and hard. I think the concepts of doppelgangers is inherently scary, and I think Thompson does a great job just really emphasizing the horror of killing your double over and over again. I can't wait to read more of this series.
