This was so bad but in a fun way. Like the writing is not great (but at least there wasn't any glaring grammar awfulness on every page). The story is not that great. The characters are rather flat stereotypes. There's no real character development. There's no growth. There's meet-cute, flirting/sex, conflict, and resolution. The standard rom-com formula except without any actual development or transition. I mean, you can probably guess that from the title. Seriously "Sleet Kitten". And the fact that he calls her kitten, OMG, just no. (That was like seriously cringy.) And some of the things the author wrote also cringy and some were too sexist. I get that she was trying to write a sexy (somewhat) alpha male, but there's a line between being a hot alpha male and being sexist.

But even with all that, I still finished it and enjoyed it. Most of that is because I had low expectations. (Seriously, really low expectations.) It's complete romance fluff that totally reads like it's self-published. I mean the fact that she admits in the acknowledgments that this was the first book she ever wrote and that her mom was basically her editor should tell you everything you need to know. And still, it was fun. So have a drink, don't think too hard about it, and just go with it.
