This book was incredible! The thing that keeps it from being perfect for me is that there is a little too much open endedness in the ending for my taste, and the first half is so incredibly slow that I almost didn't make it through the entire thing. I like that there's a lot to be interpreted in this book, but it was a tad annoying to me how we almost got an answer to what happened in the submarine but not a full answer and the vagueness didn't really work in satiating that need for me. I needed answers about the Centre that we never got and that was disappointing. But the book was well written, the characters, were really interesting and the mystery of it did have me hooked HARD (which I think it why the ending was such a disappointment. It almost feels like the author couldn't come up with the ending either).
