The Swimmer by Joakim Zander

Behind every secret is another one. Behind every lie is a bigger lie.

Fantastic spy thriller!

Written with intensity

I really enjoyed this read. It has a good pace, great action scenes, and the end of each chapter left you wanting more.

I found the relationship between Klara and Cyril to be relatable, not so much the outcome but how asking one question "why don't you have any pictures of your family?" changed the mood of the relationship. Basically the relationship will never be the same.

Actually I enjoyed all the character even with their flaws you know George with his drug problem and all. Blitzie was fun, I liked reading chapters with her involved.

Enjoyed how everything came together at the end.

I'd say the only dislike I had was wishing certain characters stayed alive, ha.

"It's not his appearance that unmasks him. It's what seeing him does to my memory of a previous moment. How his gestures, his movements, bring me back, brings the past back."
