Paper Girls, Vol. 6 by Brian K. Vaughan
4.0

Here is another example of Hugo Award voters nominating the final volume of a multi-volume saga; woe be to anyone who tries to read this without the context of the previous volumes. Luckily, I have read the previous volumes, so this one mostly made sense. It's hard to keep track of everything in a story filled with time travel and multiple versions of some of the characters, not to mention it's been almost a year since I read Volume 5. The ending seemed a bit anticlimactic, but the epilogue was a nice goodbye. This series has always been more about the relationships between the paper girls than their precise time travel adventures. Chiang's artwork is clean and fits the story well; some of his layouts are very innovative, especially when conveying multiple, simultaneous events.
