Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin

5.0

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow was the winner of all the awards, and that's what drove me to fit this in before the end of 2022. Amazon and Book Of The Month's Book of The Year & Goodread's Best Fiction. AND SO WELL DESERVED. I am going to have the biggest book hangover starting 2023 thanks to Gabrielle Zevin.

This was such a unique story & BRILLIANTLY executed. The perfect coming-of-age novel with all the nostalgia you could ask for. A story of two best friends, who create video games together, over the course of 30 years. I literally felt like I was wrapped in a hug, even during the emotional parts, throughout this entire book. The characters were perfectly created: Sam, Sadie & Marx will be fictional people I think about for a very long time. I'm not a gamer, but it not make me love this book any less.

Read if you like
- coming-of-age stories
- found family
- 90's nostalgia
- brilliant and unique storylines
- emotional stories
- mental health representation
- flawed, but lovable characters
- The Seven Husband of Evelyn Hugo or The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue

FINAL THOUGHTS: READ THIS BOOK. Just pick it up and read it. If you are willing to take a chance on something different, but written beautifully, Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow is the book I would recommend. I tried to savor every lat second of this book & ended up binging it in two days. The multiple POV's throughout added depth to the story and all the characters. I should have picked this book up so much sooner.
