I really enjoyed this book! It is one of the must unique RH books I have ever read. I love that our characters have these weird powers and are have monstrous features. It reminded me of X-men!
Riva was a great MC and I honestly felt terrible for her. She went through so much abuse from the people that held her captive and experimented on her as well as our other male characters. They treated her like shit but she just took what they gave her because she still loved them which was really sad. I’m not gonna hate her for it because she did start to call them out on their bullshit in the end and she was so mentally fucked.
I hated that guys for how they treated Riva and I thought it was so stupid. Jacob was such a fucking asshole and was the worst by a mile. I hated him so much. I did like Andreas but he still was an asshole. Dominic was quiet and ignored her and the abuse the other guys put her through. Zian was also a cranky asshole. Griffin was actually so lovely which was an absolute tragedy. Towards the end their treatment got better but my god if they don’t all have a massive grovel they can all get fucked.
The plot was also really interesting and so much shit went down! I need to know what happens next after that ending!
