The only thing I really enjoyed was the meeting between the author and his fictionalized self. That was sort of fun.
Other than that, I didn't really enjoy it. My friend, who likes horror, suggested I borrow it. So I did, and I read it. And goodness, am I tired of reading about men who menace their surroundings all while feeling sorry for themselves! I suppose it reminded me of reading tBoSaS because that novel also has a frustratingly cruel narrator. Honestly, I might prefer Coryo to Yozo Oba though...
Remember to check trigger warnings! I was warned beforehand which was fortunate. I've tried to tag the worst stuff but I bet my list is incomplete.
