A recommendation/loan from my mother. She loves Nora Roberts. I felt I should give it a go.
Well, it was fine. I wouldn't read it again, but it wasn't a bad time. It took a while to get anywhere, and I had hoped there'd be some supernatural aspect, like some of her other books apparently have - alack, not this one.
I guess I'd give Nora another try, as this is the only book I've read of hers. She writes really well. The writing isn't overly flowery, nor too simple, the dialogue seems believable. I can't speak to the accuracy of the subject, but it seemed like she had a good grasp of it.
3 out of 5 stars.
