If you like enemies to lovers type romances, this is for you!! I wasn't sure I'd like this since the lead characters are in high school, but it reads more as college/Young Adult. As usual, I cried my eyes out over the touching and emotional scenes. I feel that some heavy topics (depression/suicide/addiction) were handled EXTREMELY well.
Landon and Shay have known each other most of their lives. Both have hated each other for the way they portray themselves to the outside world...but appearances can be deceiving. Landon throws a party at his house and Reggie, the new guy in town, makes a bet between Landon and Shay as to which one can get the other to fall in love with the other first. What happens when they finally open up to each other about what's going on on the inside?
I can't wait to read Part 2 of this book next week.
