i really liked the first few short stories and was excited to read the rest. unfortunately a lot of the rest were a completely different vibe and genuinely just bored me.
they didn’t feel like they fitted in one cohesive collection, but also didn’t work as a genre-spanning idea because it started off with such a clear vibe?? weird!

- at its weakest when seemingly going for an angela carter vibe with a heavy handed moral
