While there are lines and paragraphs and even whole chapters that genuinely sparkle (Zee’s chapter 8 and Ali’s chapter 10 are absolutely my faves), the last 1/3 of the book left a sour taste for me. The ending feels incredibly rushed, which is a shame because there are so many juicy themes and ideas I wish he’d gone deeper with. 9/10 set up, 4/10 execution :(
