Based on the NPR podcast and the New York Times column, MODERN LOVE encompasses 42 short stories written by real people, telling their real love stories. Many of these are the popular stories you may have read or listened to in the past fifteen years, and some are the ones you may have seen in the Amazon series featuring Tina Fey, Andy Garcia, Dev Patel, and Anne Hathaway.
This book is short, and a super quick read. It’s a perfect pick if you are having a really busy week and only have short periods of time to read. The only thing I would advise against is reading large portions of this book in one sitting. I made the mistake of reading 10 stories or so at a time and they didn’t feel quite as special that way. Regardless, these stories are fantastic and make us feel lucky to experience the feeling of love.
